Terms & Conditions

Please read these product terms and conditions carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law and set out the terms under which Lighting Affairs makes the products available to you. If you have any questions about these trading terms please Contact Us.


The prices payable for the items in you order are clearly set out in our website. We try to ensure prices are current at all times, however, we reserve the right to change prices, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item/s concerned. All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated. The price of the item/s does not include the delivery charge which will be charged at the rates applicable from the date of your order.


If, for any reason, Lighting Affairs – Caringbah are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will be refunded the cost of the goods and may choose to cancel the whole order within 30 days.


There will be no contract of any kind between you and Lighting Affairs – Caringbah until we actually dispatch the goods to you. Your order is an offer to buy from us. Nothing that we do or say will amount to any acceptance of that offer until we actually dispatch the goods to you. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you without giving any reason. At the moment that the goods are dispatched (and not before), a contract is made between you and Lighting Affairs – Caringbah.


Delivery will be made to the address specified by you on the completed order form. Please note that we can only deliver products within Australia. Lighting Affairs – Caringbah will do our best to deliver the product/s within 30 days of the date of your order, however, Lighting Affairs – Caringbah shall not be liable for any loss occasioned by delay in delivery arising out of any cause beyond our control. If we cannot deliver within 30 days we shall notify you immediately and try to agree on an alternative date with you. If we cannot agree on an alternative date, you will be offered a refund of the cost of the product/s and the delivery charge.


You have the right to cancel your order up to 7 calendar days after the day following the delivery, by advising our Customer Service department by post, e-mail info@lightingaffairs.com.au. In the event that the goods have already been dispatched at the date of receipt of your cancellation of the order, you must return the goods to us and we will credit your credit or debit card with the price of the goods within 30 days beginning with the day on which notice of cancellation was given. The cost of return carriage must be borne by you. If you do not return the goods within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, your payment will be refunded after deducting the cost of recovering the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.


You can pay by Mastercard, Visa, AMEX or PayPal. Your card details will be encrypted so their is no possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order, at which point payment will be collected. We accept orders only from Web browsers that permit communication through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This means you cannot inadvertently place an order through an unsecured connection.


These Trading Terms are governed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales (NSW) Australia and any disputes will be decided by New South Wales (NSW) Australian courts.
