Hīnaki has become an iconic designer staple since 1995. Designed from a prototype based on fish traps which are called hīnaki by Maori. Hīnaki traps were made from woven vines, some in amazingly beautiful forms. The Hinaki comes in kitset to reduce the impact of freight on the environment.
