Random Stick brings Chia-Ying Lee’s signature Random collection into a horizontal format with a suspension lamp that is both minimalist and visually captivating. Delicate blown-glass spheres—flawless in their smoothness—are poised on a striking hexagonal bar, evoking the image of weightless soap bubbles lightly touching a surface before drifting away.

Lodes has enhanced the lamp’s functionality by integrating LEDs into the underside of the bar. This clever design not only complements the soft glow of the spheres but also ensures a consistent downward light, making it ideal for illuminating surfaces below.

The lamp comes in two sizes: a 100 cm version with four spheres and two LEDs, ideal for dining tables or desks; and a 150 cm version with six spheres and three LEDs, perfect for larger surfaces like bar counters or retail displays. Multiple units can be installed together for greater impact.

The spheres are available in seven finishes from the Random collection and can be mixed and matched on bars offered in glossy gold, glossy black, or matte white. This flexibility allows for playful colour combinations and dynamic lighting effects that highlight the theme of randomness and ephemerality—much like bubbles. Whether you prefer bold contrasts or soft, tonal harmonies, the diverse mix-and-match options let you tailor the fixture to suit any interior style.
